Question 1

What is IP-Hub?

Accepted Answer

IP-Hub is a high-performance, open-source network intelligence platform and country-level IP delegation directory. It allows network administrators to look up real-time RIPE WHOIS records, inspect BGP routing visibility, calculate CIDR subnets, and generate firewall address-lists for edge routers and firewalls.

Question 2

How do I download country IP lists for MikroTik, Cisco, and Linux firewalls?

Accepted Answer

Navigate to the Country IP Explorer (https://ip-hub.ir/country-ips), choose any two-letter country code, and select your firewall target: MikroTik address-list (.rsc), Cisco ACL (.txt), FreeBSD PF (.conf), Linux ipset (.sh), Apache .htaccess, or JSON. You can also download rules directly via the /dl API endpoint (e.g. /dl?country=DE&format=mikrotik&version=ipv4&access=allow).

Question 3

Does IP-Hub support direct downloads and API access for AI agents?

Accepted Answer

Yes. IP-Hub provides dynamic markdown content negotiation via the HTTP Accept: text/markdown header, an active /llms.txt file, an OpenAPI 3.1 catalog at /.well-known/api-catalog, and a direct download endpoint at /dl.

Question 4

What formats and access policies are supported by IP-Hub firewall scripts?

Accepted Answer

IP-Hub supports MikroTik RouterOS (.rsc), Cisco IOS ACL (.txt), FreeBSD Packet Filter (.conf), Linux Netfilter ipset (.sh), Apache .htaccess, and JSON. All scripts allow filtering by IP version (any, ipv4, ipv6), specifying access policies (allow or deny), and customizing the address-list or ACL name.
